Inside CRS

Citizens for Rail Safety, Inc. (CRS) is a non-profit, public interest group dedicated to improving rail safety throughout the United States. It is a member-supported organization open to all citizens who feel that safe rail transportation is a civic responsibility that must be addressed by railroads operating under nineteenth century guidelines making twenty-first century profits.

It is CRS' intention that, through our efforts, we can encourage the railroads to consider the public interest ahead of corporate interests.

Citizens For Rail Safety, Inc., was founded and incorporated in 2005 by concerned citizens who are committed to improving rail safety in the United States.
